College am I too old???

Well I am a 28 year old Freshman through the University of Wisconsin School System.  I am also a 6 year Active Duty U.S. Army Combat Veteran.  I was deployed to Iraq From September of 2005 to September of 2006.  Now that I am out of the Army I decided the best step for me is Higher Learning, But the questions is am I too old to be a Freshman?  I think any time you start College is a good time as long as you are fully aware of what you are getting into.  As a requirement of my English 101 Class here is my Blog where weekly entries will be made and read.  So Sit back and enjoy and feel free to post your comment on my first subject:  Is 28 too old for a Freshman?
