Busy weekend

     My mom drove from Minnesota to spend time with us and go trick or treating with Marissa. Marissa enjoyed a very heavy sack of candy after a hard night of door knocking for her very first time.  I think Marissa was a little confused why complete strangers were giving her candy but, very eager to continue.  She was very impressed by all the creative pumpkins she saw.

     On Saturday night we went to Comedy Sportz in Milwaukee.  Tina and I had been there before, but it was my Mom's first time.  There is an Irish Pub "Slims" which is  a block away from the "Sportz Arena."  We enjoyed a nice dinner and made it there just in time to enjoy a night of funny improv comedy.

     As always we had a good time and my mom really enjoyed herself as well.  I highly recommend anyone to visit there it is only 12.00 per person, and you get a two hour show that is different every time.  The bar prices are a little steep at 4.00 a beer I was negligent but gladly enjoyed some dark red Irish beer throughout the show.  I think it is nice that they have a wait staff to take care of you during the show as well.

     After sending my mom back to Minnesota I took a nice nap.  The Vikings won and the Packers lost which seals the deal and keeps the rest of my Minnesota family as happy as me.  I wish my step dad could have made it this time but his work interfered.  Although tired I think this weekend was wonderful and my sugar overdosed daughter would have to agree.
